Honey Whiskey Lemonade Recipe

honey whiskey lemonade recipe
A twist on the classic whiskey sour, this honey whiskey lemonade recipe is the perfect cocktail to sip on this summer.
Whiskey with a hint of honey pairs perfectly with freshly squeezed lemon juice, creating an incredibly alluring cocktail. This tangy-sweet concoction is best served in a double old-fashioned glass.
  • 2 ounces of honey flavored whiskey
  • ½ ounce of simple syrup
  • 1-2 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 1 medium-sized lemon
  • Ice cubes as needed

Cut the medium-sized lemon in half and cut the one-half into slices. Gently muddle a lemon wedge with a sprig of thyme in a double old-fashioned glass to release the thyme’s aroma fully. Use the other half of the lemon to squeeze an ounce of juice for the cocktail; we prefer to use this manual stainless steel juicer. Grab a 28-ounce cocktail shaker and fill it with ice. Pour the honey flavored whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup into the cocktail shaker. Cover and shake until the concoction is well mixed. Fill the glass with a fresh scoop of ice, and then strain the honey whiskey lemonade into the glass. Give the drink a quick stir and enjoy!
