Lemon and Lime Moscow Mule

Traditionally, Moscow Mules were made to be enjoyed in the cold winter months. Why limit this cocktail to one season? With just a few ingredients, this cocktail can quench your thirst in the hot summer months as well. This cocktail is one of the easiest to make, and is even simpler when you make it right in the Moscow Mule mug itself!

  • 1-½ ounce of lemon flavor vodka
  • 4 ounces ginger beer (not ginger ale!)
  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • 2 lime wedges
  • Ice cubes as needed

Place one sprig of mint and one of the lime wedges in the Moscow mule mug and gently muddle together. Fill the mug with ice and pour the ginger beer and vodka over the ice. Gently stir to ensure the ingredients are well mixed. Garnish the rim with the remaining lime wedge and mint sprig. Enjoy!

Spiked Basil Lemonade

Our grownup version of lemonade features peppery-minty notes of minced basil complemented with the sweetness of lemonade.

  • 4 ounces of your favorite lemonade
  • 1-½ ounce of vodka
  • 2 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • Ice cubes as needed

Mince the basil leaves into fine pieces and add to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Pour the lemonade and vodka over the ice, cover and shake away. Strain the mixture into a cup, garnish the rim with a lemon wedge and enjoy!

Fizzy Rosé Lemonademintlemon-drink

Don’t let the pretty pink color fool you; this drink is packed with a punch! Enjoyed by all, this cocktail is perfect for a lady luncheon on a blazing hot summer day.

  • 2 ounce of gin
  • 4 ounces of pink lemonade
  • 2 ounces of sparkling water
  • 1-2 sprigs of fresh mint
  • Sliced lemons
  • Ice cubes as needed

Combine the gin and pink lemonade in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until the concoction is well-mixed then strain into a glass. Top off with sparkling water and garnish with a sliced lemon and a sprig of mint.

Although this cocktail may be most popular on Cinco de Mayo, it is a welcome and refreshing treat throughout the rest of the summer months as well.

  • 1-½ ounce of tequila
  • 1 ounce of triple sec
  • 2 ounces of freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 ounce of simple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of salt-sugar mix (half & half of each)
  • 1-2 lime wedges
  • Ice cubes as needed

Grab a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice. Combine the tequila, triple sec, lime juice and simple syrup in the cocktail shaker. Cover and shake the concoction until it is well-mixed, which usually takes about 30 seconds. Mix the salt and sugar on a plate and run a lime wedge around the rim before dipping it into the mixture. Pour the margarita into a glass and serve!

*For a pink hue, pink, add a dash of grenadine.

You may associate cranberry with winter holidays, but cranberry juice cocktails work in the summer too. The basil and tart cranberry pairing in this recipe will wow your taste buds!

  • 6 ounces of your favorite cranberry juice
